Writing and recording of this album began in early 2021 at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. With everyone in
quarantine, Stone, Brett and Cris began collaborating long-distance, sharing ideas by email. As the songs and the story
tying them together took shape, Stone and Brett did the majority of the engineering and solicited heavy vocals by
Steve Marek (Apex Nemesis), Kyle Pinckard (Crowning Thieves) and Bryan Reid (Shadow Guilt), and guitar by Conrad
Varela to be recorded remotely and sent to Stone to include in the final recordings.
